An Imperial Russian silver and niello decorated cheroot case, assay master Alexander Skovronsky, Moscow, 1896, the rectangular hinged lid decorated with a figure in a horse drawn sledge, enclosing a gilt lined interior, 11cm wide, 159gms, 5.14ozs
Overall condition is fair. Marks are rubbed but legible. there are no creases or dents, There are no signs of erasure or thinning. The enamel is in good order. The hinge is in good order and the lid sits flat to the base. The gilding to the interior is well worn through use. Otherwise ok.
